Using the patented Ultra Bond Repair System developed specifically for long-crack repair, the experts at Dee's can fix single cracks of up to 24 inches, as well as the small "stars," "bull's eyes" and "dings" that often grow into long cracks.

A windshield is composed of a center layer of plastic, laminated to two outer layers of glass. When an object strikes the windshield, 90% of the time, only the outer layer of glass suffers the damage. The impact creates a weak spot and an air space in the outer layer of glass. The structural integrity of the glass is compromised. Stress and temperature change will cause the damage to spread without warning. The expert technicians at Dee's inject a specially formulated adhesive resin into the damage, which fills the air space, seals it, and restores the strength and structural integrity to the glass. The resin is cured using ultraviolet light.

When the resin is cured and the crack is completely sealed and no longer refracts light, the clear, visible hairline of resin is all that remains. It is stronger than the glass itself and is warranteed for 10 years against further cracking and spreading.
